19/11/00, Boeing 737- 400 somewhere over central Australia
As I write this I am flying to Perth. We hop onto the boat tomorrow. The day starts at 7:45 when a bus picks us up from the motel to take us to the boat (RSV Aurora Australis). We will get a chance to put our baggage in our cabin, then there will be a pre departure briefing. Closely following there will probably be a safety drill, possibly a life boat drill, customs search, the usual waiting around while 80 or so passengers and 20 crew get organised, then we are off. Yay!
